Lunch at T3

Am on leave today supposed to accompany my sister to the doctor but she insisted on going alone so I went out instead. First stop, Changi Airport Terminal 3.

Now at Wang Café having lunch.

Haven't seen one of these for a long time in the morning. Now walking to office. It's Thursday. Finally.

Memory leak

Guess windoze mobile is not perfect either.

Much earlier when I tried to run many applications at one go but found it was unable to do so. A quick check on the memory showed that the programs only had 8mb of memory.

No matter how I tried to end all the applications and free up the memory it wouldn't work. 8 is 8. I installed all the applications I needed to need my storage card so it shouldn't be as such.

Realizing it's windoze, I just did a reset on my phone and viola, a whopping 26mb appeared. Windoze is windoze afterall.

Sucky Dinner

Went to @Central last night for dinner with some friends, for the first time I stepped into the basement of @Central and looked for a place to eat.

Finally, we found this grill place that serves beef.

My advice? Avoid it. The address is:

Why avoid it? Simply they are not very good in hygiene and service level. Prior to our sitting down, there was a family of 3 pax seated. There were four sets of cutlery on the table, of course 1 set was not used.

When we got seated down, they cleared those that were used, and left the unused set there. I was very turned off by that. They had no menu showing the pictures of the food and the waiter was lousy in providing service. The beef looks super good in the display cabinet though.

The table they used were too small to seat 4, tables chairs and cutlery were all from Ikea. When the food was served, it was cold and the meat was dead from the cooking. The meat was good but the cooking killed it.

The soup that came with the meal was obviously from Campbell's and it was super diluted. plainly put. They can't cook for nothing and they can't give a good meal. We were just finishing the food and get out of the place.

Take my advice, avoid this at all costs.

Cashcards

I thought since that from 1st May 2008, cash cards will not hold any default cash value and will cost a full non-refundable deposit of $7, I would want to get one or two before the specified date. Been running around today trying to find some. Went to a 7-11 at J8 and to another 7-11 and Cheers @ Bishan North Shopping Mall, but was told they don't have stock.

Just now on my way to dining with my family, I dropped by the Cheers shop near Novena and found they have some stock there. I bought two pieces and will keep them until it expires and send them for refunding.
